Who We Are

  • Bridge elite sports coaching with mental performance training to help athletes find joy in sports and beyond.

  • Meet athletes wherever they are in their sports journey and lift up their self-belief.

Create an introspective and empowering experience for athletes of all sports backgrounds through conversation and skill building exercises in our mental performance training sessions.

Cultivate an uplifting and competitive environment at our field hockey events to increase long-term sports engagement, build hockey knowledge, and strengthen player resiliency.

  • Authenticity Joy Learning Perseverance Intuition

We show up for ourselves and our communities when we practice self-acceptance and live our lives authentically.

We seek out joy in ordinary moments to align ourselves with our heart’s internal validation. Feeling joy builds our capacity for resilience.

We thrive in environments that require an openness to learning so that we may live a life of continuous improvement.

We use our grittiness in moments of significant difficulty to find the strength to persevere in the face of adversity.

We trust our intuition to guide us in the direction that most aligns with our identity and goals.

  • We founded 24 Athletics to create a world where high performance sports and supportive mental coaching exist in tandem. We believe that all athletes need a foundation of support so they can execute their game plan.

For us, mental toughness isn’t always about grinding it out. It’s about finding yourself and listening to your voice even in times of doubt.

We are inspired to find meaning when we live authentically, find the joy, invite learning, demonstrate perseverance, and trust our intuition.

Meet the Founder

While playing field hockey at Syracuse University, Liz and her team won the university’s FIRST women’s national championship.

Throughout her playing career Liz played all over the field. As a utility player, mental dexterity and a willingness to learn were key to her development. Back in her playing days ‘mental toughness’ was all about the grind to outlast your opponent.

For many players the constant grind came at a cost, both mentally and physically.

Inspired by her experiences in both playing and coaching collegiate field hockey, Liz earned a Masters in Organizational Development & Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University and a second Masters in Social Work from Temple University.

24 Athletics empowers coaches, parents, and players to understand the importance of balance and perspective. Guided by authenticity, joy, learning, perseverance, and intuition we bridge the gap between performance and mental support for athletes.
